Dumping is for dummies
Today there must only be about a handful of people in the UK who do not know about the huge landfill problems the country is experiencing. The whole country is engaged in a herculean effort to recycle and not dispose of things without thought.
The skip hire companies in the UK are actively engaged in this effort. Yes, it can be argued that they make their money by removing anything from garden cleanups to rebuilding rubble and more.
They go much further than that though. Some companies have built huge recycling plants to help in conversing precious resources. The point is that if everyone does his and her bit for recycling and waste management, it will make a huge positive impact on the lives of everyone.
Take responsibility
Yet, there are still, and yes it is allowed to call them this, total idiots who does illegal dumping. Others who fall into a similar bracket will not illegal dump, but instead they do not dispose of items in a responsible way. This can in some circumstances be even worse than the illegal dumpers. Then of course there are those who sneak around and do fly tipping in the dark of the night into hired skips of their neighbours.
Heaps of rubbish is an irresistible temptation to fire bugs, so think about this. Piling old washing machines and fridges into a corner on the property is hazardous.
