How Long Are The Delivery Times And Pick-Ups For Skips
There are so many different skip hiring companies throughout the U.K, and all of them have their own delivery and pick-up times for their skips. The price for delivery and pick-ups are usually inlcuded in the cost when purchasing your required skip, unless otherwise specified.
The size of the skip you will be hiring as well as the amount of waste you want to be disposed will influence the times of delivery and pick-ups. For example, smaller skips for domestic or garden waste can have same day delivery. Whereas in some cases large ones for commercial waste, may have to get a permit first before it can be delivered if it will be located on a public road or pathway.
General Delivery And Pick-Up Times
One thing skip hiring companies have in common is that they all want to offer you the best deal and service possible. Taking this into account most of these companies will try to offer same day deliveries of their skips or on the date that you will require it. You will then be able to keep for a period of up to 10 days, or longer if necessary (depending on the company) and they will also arrange a collection time for your convenience. You can also call them and discuss your needs.
Although most skip hiring companies offer same day deliveries, this is not always possible, as things don’t always go according to plan, for example- weather conditions, breakdowns or hold ups at other customer sites could contribute to this not happening.
