People like their space, we all really like having some space we can call our own. The problem with this is that people are at the very same time also overpopulating. This means less space for each and every individual of the global village. Add to that the fact that each person generates heaps of waste and that waste needs space too. Now we have a serious problem.
And to make matters even worse there are some parts of the global village that are smaller than others. The UK is a perfect example of this. There are millions of people crammed into a small space together. Each of those millions of people also put out a whole lot of rubbish each and every day. So what now?
Skipping to the rescue
Now you have to take a look at a superb waste management system that looks after the environment and you. Part of this superb waste management system is the use of skips. So how “green” are skips after all? The answer is that they are extremely “green”. Skips aid our plight against being overwhelmed by our own rubbish by recycling it.
Every single bit of recyclable rubbish gets reused in some way or another. If it is still in good nick it gets sold to second hand stores and charity stores. If not, it gets broken down and recycled so that only the absolute least gets dumped.
This means fewer natural resources get ravished. Fewer pollutants are emitted into the earth and air and less solid waste is dumped into the earth to fill up already overtaxed landfills.
